Do you want to borrow books? Join The Library. Membership has benefits! It gives you access to South Tyneside Libraries  which offers a variety of online resources including e-books & e-magazines and book reservations and you can return books to any South Tyneside library, including the community libraries. Plus you are entitled to free computer use.

If you are 16 or over, you can join The Library by completing the online form and presenting your ID to our Boldon & Cleadon Community Library team. If you are under 16 you will need to pop into The Library and collect a form which your parent or guardian will need to sign.

Important! – You will need to present your ID to The Library team before your membership can be checked & verified and your library card issued. This must include your name & address; photo ID is not required. Once your application is processed your library card will be available to collect from The Library.
